Celebrate Bulgarian art and culture at the Magura Cultural Center’s annual Spring Gala, a special benefit event open to all. As a bilingual gathering, it welcomes both Bulgarian and English-speaking audiences.
Established in 2015, the Magura Cultural Center—also known as the Bulgarian American Heritage Center & Library—has been a vibrant artistic hub, fostering creativity and cultural connection within the Bulgarian American community in Chicagoland.
Our mission is to support artists by providing a platform to showcase their work, expand their reach, and grow professionally. Through diverse cultural and artistic events, we bring people together, creating a strong sense of community and shared heritage.

Guests will experience an elegant evening featuring fine dining, exclusive live performances, and lively conversations, all in honor of those who contribute to the growth and success of our community. Set in a beautifully decorated ballroom with enchanting music and a refined ambiance, the evening will include:
Gourmet plated four-course dinner
Four-hour premium open bar
Red and white wine served throughout dinner
Special guest MCs – actors from Bulgaria
Folk dance performance by Vivanov
Live performance by a Bulgarian singer
An hour of captivating entertainment and live performances
Music by DJ Mati to keep the energy high

Seats are limited, and tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Magura Cultural Center was established in 2015 as a collective art space providing a safe and creative environment for the Bulgarian American community to connect with its heritage and the local community in the Chicago land.
Our mission is centered around supporting artists in connecting them with wider audience, providing a venue for their career and professional advancement; and gathering the community through artistic and diverse cultural experiences by building a sense of belonging and shared identity.
Magura has always been a focal point of a rich cultural exchange between our European homeland, Bulgaria, and our adopted county and home of our children, the United States Of America.
FUNDRAISING EVENT
We invite you to partner with us supporting our mission of building a thriving community in respects to cultural diversity and support for local artists.
Proceeds from this event will help fund all future community-building events year round, hosted by Magura Cultural Center.
